Tandem Garage Addition

Basement 1144 sq.ft. | Ground 1767 sq.ft.

This bungalow had a large side yard which was being used as a driveway. We designed a new 2-car tandem garage with a vaulted ceiling for a car lift along with a loft storage space. The backyard overhead door allows for any equipment to be brought out easily. The front porch was extended along the side of the house and the front door was relocated so that it now faces the street. This added a new cold room in the basement. The vaulted porch ceiling lined with cedar draws your eye toward the new front entry. The front facade of the home was reclad with siding and stone along with cedar accents to create a Craftsman look.
